Last week, Lady Gaga released her new single “Perfect Illusion”, and people are already declaring it a hit! The song is the lead single on her fifth studio album, Joanne, which is set to be released in October. Some critics have said that “Perfect Illusion” is very similar to the music of Bruce Springsteen, while others said that this was a return to the dancing style of Gaga’s music which hasn’t been present since 2013.

The song debuted at #15 on the Billboard 100, becoming Lady Gaga’s 23rd song to debut inside the top 100. The song was trending following it’s release, and has created an incredible amount of hype for future releases off of the album.
