• Kanye West may have kicked off NY Fashion Week with an outdoor showing of his Yeezy Season 4 line on September 7th.  Many of the attendees complained about the conditions and late start time.  After standing at attention for hours, a few of the models passed out on the lawn on Roosevelt Island and stumbles in their shoes while storming down the runway.  Ah, what a disaster.
• Former Spice Girls singer, Victoria Beckham debuted her latest line on September 11th. Her designed featured traditional fabrics like velvet, lace and satin, balances with new colors like bright peppermint and bold orange.
• Oscar de la Renta’s Spring 2017 runway show on the 12th debuted the collection from their new creative directors Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia.  This new collection will be available come February.
• Jonathan Saunders, the new chief creative officer at Diane von Furstenberg, focused on branching out the bran to romantic florals paired with playful polka dots and metallic dresses.
• New collections from Tommy Hilfiger, Rachel Roy, Serena Williams, Jeremy Scott, Christian Siriano, DKNY and others also shined
• Many celebrities made appearances where it was Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin on the runway or to stars like Taylor Swift, Ashley Graham and Malin Akerman in the audience.
